To assist in responsible battery disposal, we:

  • Provide information on safe battery disposal options at the point of sale.
  • Encourage customers to use B-cycle accredited drop-off locations.

Retailers and distributors must also:

  • Ensure batteries are stored safely and labelled correctly before disposal.
  • Follow Queensland’s battery transport and storage regulations.
