Atlas Hyper Achromatic Speaker Z/S 3.5 Delivers High-End Signal Transparency

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Speaker Z/S 3.5 is a high-performance OFC speaker cable engineered for audio purists seeking clarity without compromise. Designed for discerning audiophiles, this cable offers a rare combination of sonic transparency, low resistance, and premium connectivity — ideal for elevating the performance of high-fidelity systems, especially those from brands like Naim and Linn, without altering their core character.

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Cable Offers Transparent High-Fidelity Sound

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Speaker Z/S 3.5 is crafted to deliver exceptional signal transparency by using twin 3.5mm² high-purity OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) conductors. This substantial cross-sectional area enhances current handling and improves low-frequency control — a critical factor in delivering deep, tight bass without overhang. By prioritising signal integrity and neutrality, Atlas ensures that the cable imposes minimal sonic coloration, letting the inherent qualities of the audio system speak clearly.

For systems known for their unique sonic signatures — such as those from Naim or Linn — this cable complements rather than competes. Rather than pushing a specific tonal bias, it maintains speed, dynamic agility, and open midrange definition, preserving the pacing and tonal accuracy critical to these systems’ performance.

Precision-Engineered Construction Maximises Signal Integrity

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Z/S 3.5 uses a twin-core round construction enveloped in a robust FEP dielectric, selected for its low capacitance and minimal signal loss characteristics. This design contributes to outstanding electrical performance, including a low resistance of just 0.0049 ohms per metre and minimal inductance at 0.592 µH/m. The result is a cable that passes more of the amplifier's energy with less loss and distortion — crucial for high-resolution playback.

The external jacket features a gloss black finish that’s both elegant and durable, while sleeved white box packaging protects the cable during shipping and provides a clean unboxing experience.

Achromatic Z-Plug and Spade Terminations Enhance Connection Purity

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Speaker Z/S 3.5 comes factory-terminated with a choice of Achromatic Z-plugs or Spade connectors, offering compatibility with a wide range of speaker binding posts and amplifier terminals. Both connector types utilise low-mass, non-conductive housings designed to eliminate magnetic eddy currents that can degrade signal flow.

Each termination is precision-executed using cold-weld technology, which bonds the connector to the conductor without the use of solder. This method reduces the number of material interfaces and ensures maximum signal continuity, eliminating the ‘barriers’ and microscopic corrosion that can occur with traditional soldered joints.

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Z/S 3.5 Is Ideal for Premium Audio Systems

Atlas Hyper Achromatic Z/S 3.5 speaker cable is an outstanding choice for audiophiles building or upgrading a performance-tier system. Part of the Atlas Hyper Series, it is categorised at the ‘Aspire’ performance level, and embodies five essential elements that define Atlas cable design: purity, precision, neutrality, innovation, and durability.

By integrating carefully selected materials, optimal geometry, and advanced termination techniques, this high-spec speaker cable reveals subtle musical nuances, spatial detail, and transient speed, aligning perfectly with the expectations of advanced audio systems — whether in dedicated listening rooms or refined home audio setups.
